Privacy policy
This page explains what data we collect when you visit elitia.ch or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It is written in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

The data we collect
When you fill in the contact form, we record your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, your need, your timeframe, your estimated budget and your message in our private area. A copy is sent to our address info@elitia.ch and an acknowledgement is sent to you, when the sending service is available.
When you request the Le Signal newsletter, we keep your email address, the date and the wording of your consent. An email lets you confirm your subscription. Only confirmed addresses are exported to the list used to send the issues. A link lets you unsubscribe.
When you request a resource, we record your first name, your surname, your email address, your company if you provide it, the date, the resource requested and your choice regarding the newsletter. The file is available immediately after the form is submitted, through a temporary link valid for four hours. Choosing to receive the newsletter is optional and separate from the download.
A technical fingerprint of the IP address is used to limit automated submissions. It is deleted at the latest on the first use of the service following 24 hours without further activity.
When you play, the server keeps the game, the date and the result, with a technical session identifier. You can add a nickname and choose to publish it with your score on the public leaderboard. No email is required to play. Nicknames are not verified identities. Technical game data is deleted after twenty-four hours without activity.
Why we use it
To reply to your request and, if you wish, prepare a proposal. To send you the newsletter you subscribed to, or the resource you requested. To understand how the site is used and improve it. We never use your data for other purposes, and we neither sell nor rent it to third parties.
On what basis
Your contact request and the sending of a resource are based on your consent and on the need to reply to you. The newsletter requires your explicit choice, then confirmation by email when it is activated. You can withdraw this consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in each issue or by writing to us. The optional audience measurement and advertising tools, where configured, are only loaded after your consent. You can change your choice through the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
How long we keep it
Contact messages, resource requests and game results are kept for twelve months. Pending newsletter subscriptions and unsubscriptions are kept for twelve months after their last update. Confirmed subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. The email sending queue is kept for thirty days. Purges take place when the service is used. You can ask for your data to be deleted at info@elitia.ch.
Who has access
The podcast player is provided by Acast. When it is displayed, your browser connects to Acast. The audio file is loaded when you start playback. You can read Acast's privacy policy.
Elitia accesses requests from a password-protected private area. Data is stored on our Infomaniak hosting, outside the site's public folder. It is not transmitted to Meta or Google by the resource and newsletter forms.
Your rights
You can at any time request access to the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, or object to its processing. Simply write to info@elitia.ch. We reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
